Supporting your financial freedom

Mr. Morimoto is a graduate of San Diego State University’s Business School and holds Series 7 (General Securities Representative), Series 24 (General Securities Principal) and Series 63 Registrations.

Stacey Morimoto

Founder CEO

Mr. Morimoto has accumulated over 20 years of experience in the securities industry primarily focused within alternative investments. Stacey utilizes this experience to help his clients navigate the complexities of investing in private securities transactions.

Stacey started his career in the Salomon Smith Barney La Jolla, CA branch, where he quickly learned the limitations of the traditional “wire house” platform. In an effort to provide his clients true value, Stacey decided to become an independent financial representative and establish a securities broker dealer, through which he would execute his vision.

Midpoint Financial Services was founded in 2003 to do just that. Stacey built an alternative investment platform which offered investors the opportunity to participate in a multitude of TIC and DST real estate investments, financing, private equity and energy based investment opportunities both unique and relatively exclusive to the independent broker dealer community.

In 2019 Stacey founded Stax Capital, a broker dealer offering alternative investments and 1031 exchange eligible Delaware Statutory Trusts. Having served as Principal for two broker dealers, Stacey brings a great wealth of experience and expertise to serve Stax Capital clients.
